My first full-time developer position was with Global Thinking in Alexandria, VA right outside DC. At GT my primary work was developing email templates, microsite, and eventually full-fledged sites. One of those sites was my first solo project, Lift Communities. It was a bespoke site integrated with WordPress for customization and ease of use for the client. I learned a lot during this project; how to budget my time and most importantly how to speak up and ask for what I need to deliver the best result.
